I’ve been inspired by the early warm weather here in New England to offer Spring Studio Mini Sessions* on April 1st. Space is limited, there are just 10 mini sessions available, so contact me early to reserve your spot. 15 minute sessions in my studio in West Concord, choice of 4 images on a disk with unlimited printing rights. $75 per child. * Mini Session offer is not valid for Newborn, Senior or Family photos. Babies must be able to sit up on their own. One child per 15 minute session.

Valentine Mini Sessions Are Here! – Boston Family Photographer

I am now announcing Valentine’s Day Mini Sessions! The sessions will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 9 am to 2 pm.

The mini sessions are only $150 and you will receive:

15 minute custom photography session in my studio in West Concord
10 proofs to view in your private online gallery

And your choice of 2 of the following (you may choose 2 of the same item):

One set of 8 wallets
One accordion album
2 hi-resolution digital images of your choice on a disk. You will be able to use the digital images for cards, prints, or sharing online. Whatever works best for you!

Payment of the fee holds your session and I cannot hold a session until payment is received. Sessions will be booked on a first come first serve basis. This is a great opportunity to try custom photography at a reduced rate. I only offer one or two mini sessions each year, so don’t wait!

*Additional prints, digital files & products are available for purchase at the standard rates.

**Due to the limited time available, mini sessions are limited to families of 5 or less. Larger families must book 2 session slots. Not applicable for newborn or senior sessions. Babies must be able to sit up on their own.

I had the pleasure of shooting this fun family from Acton this fall. I have photographed them before and each time, the girls are very adorable and sweet and really enjoy themselves in front of the camera. I love the bright colors they wore to the shoot…..the colors really make the images pop!

I am back this week with a post of a session I had with the sweetest children. Our session had been rescheduled multiple times due to rain but we were finally able to get it done in September. The children were so sweet and fun to photograph and I am so pleased with how the session turned out. It was definitely worth the wait!

Family Fun

I have so much going on. My son just completed Kindergarten and we have had a hectic end of the school year. On top of that, I am preparing for an overseas trip to Paris with my entire family. Amongst all of the end of the school year madness, I have had several shoots that I am going to try to blog before I depart. I recently photographed this family in my favorite Concord location. They were all super fun and the kids were great hanging in there for an almost 2 hour shoot.

First Birthday and a Cake Smash!

I am so behind in blogging sessions. My calendar is just crazy between now and the end of June. I am just trying to keep up! This was a first birthday session from April. The parents wanted some shots of their son at one year old and then a fun cake smash at the end. He was a little unsure about the cake, but I think he had a great time exploring it! Happy Birthday!

RAIN RAIN RAIN. Several of my shoots recently have been postponed due to all the rain we’ve been having. In fact, we seem to only have rainy days when I have a shoot scheduled. Luckily, the weather held for this recent Spring Mini Session at my favorite location. As you can see we were able to capture many lovely images in less than an hour!

Spring Studio Session – Boston Children’s Photographer

I had a wonderful session with this sweet young lady. Her mom wanted to get some spring photos as well as a few photos of her daughter in her Easter dress. We decided to do a morning studio shoot with several wardrobe changes. As you can see, we were able to achieve a wide variety of looks from a single session. Not only did we take advantage of several set ups in the studio, but we ventured outside for a few minutes, since it was such a beautiful day. I love that my studio is in an area that has multiple “urban” outdoor scenes to shoot in. It gives me the flexibility to provide my clients with a nice variety of shots from a single session! Thanks again Amy for being so awesome and up for all my ideas!

Little Angel – Boston Newborn Photographer

Well, here is the latest little angel that I was so fortunate to photograph last week. She was so sweet and such a delight to work with. Not much fussing or crying and pretty much slept through the entire session! She let me shoot a couple adorable set ups and I couldn’t believe how fast the time had flown.

I had the privileged of photographing this lovely NYC family this weekend. This is their first baby and he couldn’t have been more sweet and adorable. It was fun working with them. They were game for all my crazy ideas and we basically turned the apartment upside down to make room for my set ups. In the end, I would say it was worth it. We decided to do a combination of posed and lifestyle portraits. Below is a peek at some of the wonderful moments we were able to capture. Shai and Liz, thank you so much for inviting me into your home. It was an honor to spend the day with you and your new family.

Valentine Studio Session – Boston Children’s Photographer

Well, after a long and wonderful holiday pause, I am back with some big news and a new session. Over the holidays, I spent my time not only with friends and family, but also working on an exciting project. I am happy to announce that I now have a studio in West Concord! Some wonderful artist space came available in the Old Bradford Mill in West Concord. It is located behind the Quilter’s Way shop and directly across the street from the West Concord Five and Ten on Bradford St. It is a terrific location with lots of potential for outdoor urban shots in the spring, summer and fall. Not to mention that is also right behind the Rideout Playground! The Mill’s new owners are making steady progress on the renovations of the mill buildings. My studio is located in the last building to be renovated so it still looks a bit rustic on the outside. But not to worry, I have spent several months renovating my space (new floors, paint, decorations). It has high ceilings, exposed beams and huge windows for lots of natural light! I can’t wait to share photos of the space once it is completed.

In the meantime, I would like to share with you my first session in my new studio loft. Her mom and I decided on a Valentine theme with a couple outfit changes. I always love shooting Miss S. She is incredibly photogenic and so much fun to work with. Thanks again Sasha for everything!
