This was our holiday card this year. I was shocked that I was actually able to get the kids to stand still long enough for me to take photos. Anyway, I hope that you are enjoying this holiday season as much as we are and I will see you all here in the New Year!

I just got back from an incredibly inspirational photography workshop. 3 Days with the amazing Australian photographer, Barb Uil, of JinkyArt. I feel excited and inspired and ready for the busy fall season. This sweet little girl was such a doll. She was a bit nervous at first but eventually had fun playing with her little birdie. Thank you Barb, Megan, Deb, Kathy, Avis, model families and all my fellow attendees for an incredible experience! More photos from the workshop to follow….

We had a really nice 4th of July. Friends came over and we had a low key cookout. The kids played so nicely together. Complete with baseball, our own parade, and lots of food! I even made my first pie. Thanks for the delicious cake, Sash. Hope your 4th was just as wonderful!

Cape Cod – Acton Family Photographer

We just got back from a great vacation on the Cape. Even though we live so close, we hadn’t ever really taken the kids to the beach. We always vacation with family in Baltimore or on a lake in Vermont. We all had a great time and had fantastic weather every day. The house we rented was just a few steps to the beach….perfect location. I ate a ton of clam chowder and lobster and drank lots of cold beer (hello heartburn!). It was a much needed break and we’ll definitely do it again next year.
