Valentine Mini Sessions Are Here! – Boston Family Photographer

I am now announcing Valentine’s Day Mini Sessions! The sessions will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 9 am to 2 pm.

The mini sessions are only $150 and you will receive:

15 minute custom photography session in my studio in West Concord
10 proofs to view in your private online gallery

And your choice of 2 of the following (you may choose 2 of the same item):

One set of 8 wallets
One accordion album
2 hi-resolution digital images of your choice on a disk. You will be able to use the digital images for cards, prints, or sharing online. Whatever works best for you!

Payment of the fee holds your session and I cannot hold a session until payment is received. Sessions will be booked on a first come first serve basis. This is a great opportunity to try custom photography at a reduced rate. I only offer one or two mini sessions each year, so don’t wait!

*Additional prints, digital files & products are available for purchase at the standard rates.

**Due to the limited time available, mini sessions are limited to families of 5 or less. Larger families must book 2 session slots. Not applicable for newborn or senior sessions. Babies must be able to sit up on their own.

Here is the latest little bundle of joy that I was able to photograph in my studio. This time, a sweet little boy! I have had so many girl babies and it was nice to work with a little guy. He slept really well allowing us to get him into several set ups. He was less than two weeks old, which is the perfect time to photograph these little ones.

I recently had this little sweetie in my studio for a newborn session. She was amazing to work with. She slept almost the entire time and allowed me to pose her in a variety of set ups with no fussing. It really does make a difference to have your baby photographed within the first two weeks. They sleep so soundly and are much more amenable to being photographed.

I had so much fun photographing this little sweetie earlier this month. She was brand new (less than 2 weeks) just as I like them. I am having quite a few newborns coming up on my calendar and I am so looking forward to meeting them all.

I had the pleasure of shooting this fun family from Acton this fall. I have photographed them before and each time, the girls are very adorable and sweet and really enjoy themselves in front of the camera. I love the bright colors they wore to the shoot…..the colors really make the images pop!

I am back this week with a post of a session I had with the sweetest children. Our session had been rescheduled multiple times due to rain but we were finally able to get it done in September. The children were so sweet and fun to photograph and I am so pleased with how the session turned out. It was definitely worth the wait!

Gorgeous Holliston Senior – Boston Senior Photographer

Oh my goodness, I am so behind in blogging. But I wanted to get this absolutely gorgeous Holliston senior up on the blog. I had a great time shooting this senior. She was really fun to work with and very comfortable in front of the camera. I spoke with her mom before the shoot and we decided that she would have at least 4 wardrobe changes. As you can see from the variety of shots, it was really worth the effort. I love how they accessorized every single outfit. Belts, hats, scarves, boots and jewelry can really turn a good photo into a GREAT photo! Don’t be afraid to work it!

Another note about Fall sessions – my October weekend evenings are now completely booked. I may have one or two dates open, if that. If you are looking for senior or family portraits, I have still have openings mid week in the evening and in the morning on the weekends. Email me for more information.

Beautiful Acton Senior – Boston Senior Photographer

I am so lucky….I have been getting the most wonderful and super fun seniors lately. And this Acton senior was no exception. She came in a gorgeous purple outfit and had the best gung-ho attitude. She really was wonderful to work with and was up for almost anything. Needless to say she looked awesome in all of our locations. Here are some of my favorites.

(PS – I am running a bit behind on editing and blogging due to a minor accident in my home last week. Everyone is on the mend and doing well and I am trying hard to catch up this week. Galleries are going out everyday and if you are waiting on yours, I should be caught up by this weekend. My apologies!)

Well high school senior season is in full swing. I am booking up quickly and there aren’t many available weekend sessions remaining. Cousins! – High School Senior Session

Here is one of my recent senior sessions. This session was unique in that two cousins wanted to have their senior portraits done at the same time. The moms wanted to have a few photos of the two of them together to mark this moment in their lives. I was more than happy to oblige. We were lucky to get a beautiful sunny evening that wasn’t too hot for shooting. They both were very nice and such a pleasure to work with!

Well, I just returned from a month long vacation in Paris. It was truly a wonderful experience for my family and now I am rejuvenated and ready for the very busy fall season. Before I left, I shot several sessions which I have not yet blogged. I have some serious catching up to do.

I was so fortunate to be able to photograph this gorgeous Acton senior back in June. She was a little shy at first but really opened up during the session and we were able to capture some stunning images.

A note to 2012 Seniors, my Fall calendar is already starting to fill up fast. If you need senior portraits by a specific deadline, please do not wait to schedule your session with me.

Family Fun

I have so much going on. My son just completed Kindergarten and we have had a hectic end of the school year. On top of that, I am preparing for an overseas trip to Paris with my entire family. Amongst all of the end of the school year madness, I have had several shoots that I am going to try to blog before I depart. I recently photographed this family in my favorite Concord location. They were all super fun and the kids were great hanging in there for an almost 2 hour shoot.
