Well, I am back from vacation and trying to catch up on work. I have a bunch of sessions to edit and blog, so let’s get started with baby C. I had so much fun photographing this little guy a few weeks back. He was a little older (outside of 2 weeks) and took a little while to get to sleep. But once asleep, he let us work our magic.

Today I had the nicest family in my studio with a very sweet little baby boy. My assistant, Jennifer, was off today so daddy became my assistant for the day. He was really terrific and had a knack for soothing and quieting his newborn son. Just wonderful.

This little guy was in our studio a few weeks back. I posted a sneak peek to the blog awhile ago and I was amazed at the number of hits the post received. Additionally, his image was chosen as LSI’s shot of the day. What can we say, he was born to be a model! But seriously, he was one of the easiest babies I’ve ever worked with. He slept the entire time, never fussed, and was just too adorable in all the poses we put him in. It is so much fun being a baby photographer in Boston!

Here is a little sneak peek of a darling little newborn baby girl who was in my studio today. We were a little worried about the rain in the morning, but the clouds broke and we had plenty of natural light to shoot the session. Baby O was so sweet and not the least bit fussy. Her moms were so great to work with again. Can you guess her nursery theme?

Senior Model Call | Boston Senior Photographer

It is that time of year again when we begin to rev up the studio for High School Senior season. To kick off this year’s senior program, we are currently looking for 2013 rising high school seniors to participate in our model program. Here are the details:

Applicants must be a rising 2013 High School senior (currently a junior).
Applicants should be fun, outgoing, comfortable in front of the camera, unique, and a great sense of style.
Applicants must have permission from their parent or guardian to model for Susan Bartolini Photography.

Details: Chosen models will receive a complimentary photo shoot complete with hair and makeup, select images to share on Facebook, senior rep cards to give to friends, one complimentary image to send to your high school yearbook, ability to earn credit toward the purchase of their own prints and/or other products.

When: Shoot will take place in early June.

Cost: No cost and no obligation to purchase any prints or products.

Deadline to submit application: May 20, 2012

I had a terrific session yesterday with a wonderful family and sweet newborn baby boy. He arrived at the studio asleep and stayed that way for quite some time. We were able to capture lots of precious images. Here is a sneak peek of a few:

This adorable little newborn came to visit me in the studio a few weeks back. She was really terrific and I was able to photograph her in several different set ups. It was hard choosing which images to blog! I narrowed it down to these few images but there were lots more that were just stunning.

I had this little guy in my studio a couple weeks back. He was so very sweet and I got to try out some new hats and backgrounds on him. His momma brought the teddy bear which was handed down to him. I love incorporating meaningful family items into my newborn sessions. They help to create a special connection to the family.

The studio is so busy and today we had an amazing little guy! He wins the best sleeper of the year award. He pretty much slept the entire time and we were able to get lots of fun and adorable images…like this one here.
